  1. I don’t usually blame the refs. The Sabres needed to bury their chances. But the Zucker penalty call was some seriously weak ass soccer diving. Handed the Kings the game.

  2. 😪😪😪L. A Kings lost to the Florida Panthers 4-2 on their home opener. Relax people regular season just started. Sabres lost at home doesn't mean they won't make it to the playoffs in 2024-25.

  3. Sabres are an embarrassment and I’ll be surprised if they win 30 games this year I do believe they will be that bad. This isn’t working anymore they might need to rebuild again or something idk

  4. Kopitar still severely underrated imo, he plays top 5 defensive fwd consistently every year and puts up near a point per game a szn and he’s never played with a true top winger. His best winger ever his offensively is kevin finals statistically , I don’t think in his prime he’s ever had a winger score more than 65 points. The year he put 90+ point he was 33 and his winger was a old Marian Gaborik and an old Dustin brown who was a grinder that only put up 60 2 times in his career. If he had even 1 elite winger in his career he def would’ve avg 80-90 points ever year

  5. As a hardcore Islanders fan, I feel really bad for Buffalo fans. Three straight losses to start the year and if this keeps up, they will miss the playoffs for a 14th consecutive year. The Sabres and NY Jets have the longest active playoff droughts of all North American sports franchises. Before that, the Seattle Mariners had the longest drought at a whopping 21 years.
