Wonder what the Phillies would give for TROUT ? Angels have to rebuild now….?
Mike's right about minor leaguer valuation. Fan bases overvalue their farm hands, understandably. We pay way more attention and project our hopes. Deep down, it's a numbers game that requires a constant influx of guys to sift out the contributing major leaguers.
I'm reticent to make a simplistic statement. Still, if by the baseball gods, Trout has a true rebound season, things aren't dark. We all know the time for that is limited, so we hope he can squeeze in a few seasons for his legacy. Even I'm not pollyannish enough to hope for a productive Rendon season. But…the two of them together with a unicorn year? Oh, my. But the proverbial stranger things…
