There is no doubt that Arenado is a great player, one of the best defensive 3b of this generation. But I do not see him as a leader. He has too many ups and downs, and when he is down it is very obvious.
He’s not getting younger. I WOULD WANT TO GO AS WELL
Just clean house, but expect there to be major consequences at the turnstiles!
Cards would have to eat $10 million a year over the next two years to move him.
I really don’t blame him They made so many promises to him. I know he wants to go to a winning team. I love him and Goldy but they don’t want to stay on a team where the owners don’t give a Shit as long as the people come to the game. I’ve been a Cardinal Fan since the 60’s and this is PATHETIC
Thanks for adding the chart to this video! That helps visualize it all.
Why would he? They obviously lied to get him to opt into his contract.
It’s sad. He thought so highly of the Cardinals. The front office let him down.
I can't believe he's stayed this long to begin with. What kind of lies has Mo been feeding him in the off season about improving the team?
Nolan deserves to play on a contender.
Pujols will always be my favorite player, but for active guys (despite his ups and downs), Arenado is my top pick. It sucks that we could never have ONE season with him and Goldy, where we made a deep playoff run, and it also sucks that there was never a season where the trade rumors/opt-out talks weren't swirling.
That being said, I do feel like he's going to be gone before the 2025 season. Wish it didn't have to be this way, but it just seems like the right move for both parties.
He’s been pouting for 2 years now not running out ground balls etc. Production was down . Get rid of him if you can
Let's remember the good times with Nolan! It was fun for awhile. I hope he goes somewhere, lights it up and wins a ring.
Yes, trade him.
Tbh i lost a lot of respect for him when i saw the lack of hustle, i dont do you expect him to be Pete Rose but, damn it just looked like a lot of times he wouldn't even try, i mean run out a ground ball please
Ernie banks and billy williams nevrr got to play in a world series,..ninety percent of the players in show don t ever get there.he and and goldy had there chance, but they played shitty in the two play games they played in.sorry about that.and you can add good players from the 70s and 90s didnt get too.get over it.
Yea trade him. His contract and Goldschmidts contract were always a gross over pay. With Chaim taking over hopefully those types of deals go away. To think fans are always bitching about greedy owners well the players are too
Feels like Arenado would be toxic in the clubhouse during a rebuild, if he isn’t toxic already….Bye Felicia.
