David Fry’s 2 run home run gave the Cleveland Guardians a 4-3 lead in the 7th and they held on for a 5-4 win over the Tigers in Detroit to even up their best of 5 ALDS at 2 games apiece. The series moves back to Cleveland for the 5th and final game on Saturday night.

  1. Even though I’m a tigers fan, last night’s game was by far the best game of the series. Lots of credit to the guardians for winning it. Even though I’ll be rooting for Detroit tomorrow, if Cleveland wins, I’ll be rooting for the guardians to win it all. I grew up in the Detroit area, but lived in Lakewood Ohio for a year and a half, so I do have a bit of a connection with Cleveland. Cleveland and Detroit, both cities have great sports fans and deserving of their teams winning more titles.

  2. It is said that momentum is the next game's starting pitcher. And for the Tigers that is Skubal. Not ideal for the Guardians to be facing the likely Cy Young Award winner in an elimination game. But you've got to be in it to win it. All hands on deck tomorrow.
