Fisher will pay the construction costs himself. However I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a buyer already in place once the stadium is ready. Then fisher recoups his money on the back end. We’ll see how much the Twins sale goes for and it’ll establish a selling price for an A’s sale.
He definitely does not “need” the money. He could easily pay for everything himself. But people like him don’t become insanely rich by paying for things they don’t feel they have to.
