Feel like he’s going to take this postseason experience and take a big step forward next season. I get Esky vibes from him, not because they’re related but the fact that early in their careers, they followed a good season with the bat with a suboptimal season the next. Esky 2012-2013, Garcia 2023-2024. Alcides broke out 2014 at the plate, and idk I just feel the same of Garcia. He’s got edge and I love that about him.
Garcia has turned into the Brady Singer of the starting lineup and the fanbase absolutely hates him. For better or worse, theres a reason the org has a ton of faith in him. They think he’s a big part of the future of this club. Hell, listen to what Brett had to say about him on Hosmer’s pod

And, he’s a gentleman that he kept his composure in ALDS game 4 when Volpe shoved him and then patted him, and the joker Chisholm started running his pie hole. Amazing restraint.
Love him. Am hoping he handles the hot corner for years to come. He has all the tools. Am bummed as we all are about last night but this year wasn’t a fluke. We have some really good pieces. Can’t wait for spring training!!! Am a NJ Royals fan and getting the baseball package last few years is best money I have ever spent.
