I will say until the day I die- LeBron and AD were 1a and 1b best two players in the league in the bubble.
Still funny how they left Quinn Cook at the arena
Bubble AD was perfection. Midrange god. It was so special. This was truly a great squad, the chemistry, everything and shoutout to coach Vogel too!
We even had a dedicated glue guy in Dudz. He publicly stated he’d go in and be an enforcer (and pay any fines) if any teams did dirty plays to any Lakers. Loved him for that.
Rob Pelinka and the entire front office should have been flipping burgers the way they panicked after the 2021 playoffs loss
That Westbrook trade wasn’t needed. The depth we lost isn’t recovered till now.
Too bad Pelinka thought he could do better. Howard, Westbrook, AC, Ham….

Watching all these podcasts with Dwight and Javale also got me wondering why this was broken up 😡
Man when I think back… This was a solid ass team bro! No holes whatsoever.
Love this team. I really wish we would’ve run it back. Would’ve still be an insanely steep hill to climb given that camp started like 5 weeks after we won the chip. But still would’ve liked to see them get a chance to defend.
I think in the regular season there was a clear top 3 with Clippers, Lakers, Bucks. Bucks and Clippers just didn’t have the mental during the bubble that the Lakers did.
Then the front office ruined it
Anyone hating on this chip seems to forget that. We had the best record and even beat the top teams Clips and Bucks the weekend before the shutdown. We were the best team all season.
Javale is heavily under appreciated
Unreal chemistry this team had. And this is a perfect example of “if it’s not broken, then don’t try to fix it.”
It’s legendary. They won all the hardest matchups more than the weaker ones, the exact opposite of 2021 team where we lost all the hardest match ups, but we feasted against the weaker ones. These guys are even better in the road than at home. Until they got very serious and just beat everybody to a pulp in the bubble where everybody was playing at an all-time level. God that was the best playoffs year in the NBA history. Everybody is literally in God mode except Playoff P. I guess.

Giannis took both LeBron and AD’s awards. I’m sure had the season continued the media narrative would have switched to LA
