I like angry bowling ball style running backs, so I’ll take J Stew. He also stiff armed Ronde Barber so bad he bounced off the turf twice.
Love Jonathan. Love him. He’s not peak DeAngelo. Peak DeAngelo Williams is an all-time underrated player.
DeAngelo all day. Stew was great – DeAngelo was better.
Dlo had the better peak but JStew was more consistent, willing catcher and blocker, and didnt get fat and happy w/ a contract.
JStew, because he’s a great dude, contributes to Charlotte to this day, is not a shitty person, and was an absolute BRUISER when he was here.

Williams was the better back of the two but Stewart was the more powerful back between the tackles. Was cool to have them on the same team, they were fun to watch back in 09.
I loved me some D Will. He was the closest thing Barry Sanders I’ve seen in the league in 2008. That said, we never saw Jonathan Stewart as the full time back at his peak.
Stewart would have been a top 5 RB on another team. I think it’s closer than the comments suggest . Prime Stew was fast too.
