Denver Broncos Just Caught an Unexpected Break…
The Denver Broncos are facing a dinged up Los Angeles Chargers team in a crucial AFC West matchup this week. If the Broncos were to upset the Chargers, Sean Payton would have a pretty commanding lead in the 2nd place spot of the AFC West with two very winnable games coming in the next two weeks. If we win this game against the Chargers on Sunday, hitting our 5 game over under by the end of October is VERY doable and fun to shock the world. So we caught a couple unexpected breaks. The Chargers are very dinged up and will be missing at least two starters in their defensive backfield which I think is a great opportunity for Bo Nix. If he can get rid of the ball on time and avoid the pass rush, our receiving corps should feast on the backups.
The other unexpected break is that while we lost Josh Reynolds to injury over the next few weeks, I think it’s a great chance to actually get to see Devaughn Vele. Vele was the talk of Denver Broncos training camp, with an Odell Beckham like one handed grab, and he balled out of control against the Seattle Seahawks and caught all 8 passes he was targeted in. Very few rookie recievers in the history of the NFL have had 8 catches in their first game and I honestly think his ceiling is way higher than Josh Reynolds ceiling. He was a favorite target of Bo Nix in real NFL games and I love the fact that he will get the slot snaps with an injured Reynolds.

Vele will play but won’t be a starter its going to be lil Jordan in the slot and court and Franklin on the out side and mims might keep vele off the field too
Honestly I say we keep Wilson to help bo nix learn from a more veteran player and Wilson wants to be here where as stidham seemed kinda down that Bo is the starter and I think he would benefit from being traded to where he could get some playing time

Have watched more than 10 videos and realized I wasn't subscribed. Solved that dilemma. GO BRONCOS
Vele had 8 catches….for 39 yards. His longest catch was 9 yards. So 7 for 30. That means he was averaging around 4.2-4.9 YPC. It's great to have him back but a lot of those passes were behind LOS passes. Bo's Completed Air Yards per Completion was 2.7 and Completed Air Yards per attempt was 1.7. Based off of the information so far, Vele has to get downfield and then also make catches. His volume seems high because behind LOS passes are easier to complete.
