Raptors mailbag: Which new player has impressed most this NBA pre-season?

On the last roster spot:

On the implicaitons of the new CBA:
>I think that most of this summer was the period that front offices needed to figure how to exploit the inevitable loopholes in the CBA, and as we saw in the convoluted Knicks-Timberwolves trade they are learning what works and doesn’t. I think it’ll take a bit longer to game the system completely, but they will.
On Masai’s expectations of the Raptors:
>He improved the team by having patience and letting it ferment…and not expecting the upheaval of two major trades.
Ochai: made it into the NBA without knowing how to shoot. It’s a freaking miracle! That’s like making the track and field sprint team without know how to run.
Very impressive
Honestly, the entire team has been disappointing. Shead looks better than expected but he still doesn’t really look like an important player of the future.
Barrett looked good in his game but then he got injured for 6 weeks.
Overall, team is gonna look amazing once we have Ace Bailey and Scottie duo front court and RJ/IQ back court.
