  1. Guards pen seems likely to be very overworked at this point. this could be a rough series unless the offense pops off. I’m rooting for em though

  2. I really thought Guardians’ bullpen might blow it because of overuse. Glad to be proven wrong . Great to see our guy, Thomas, be integral to their success.

  3. I’m just hoping the offensive slump across games 2&3 are the only one the Guards see. We got lucky to win the series despite effectively giving two games away.

  4. Really didn’t do well hitting with RISP and just hitting in general this year has been a big theme. Not totally unexpected with such a young team with 5 rookies having significant ABs (Meadows, Keith, Perez, Sweeney, Malloy) and Greene/Tork/Carpenter this was only their 3rd year in the bigs

I know growth isn’t linear but gotta hope these young guys keep improving. Excited to see what moves we make this offseason and what next year brings.

  5. When Ramirez came up with the bases loaded in the fifth, hitting from the right side, I had the feeling that would be the end of our run; never expected it would be the guy after him.

  6. This is the 4th Grand Slam that has basically ended the Tigers season in their last 5 post season trips

    2011 ALCS: Nelson Cruz

2013 ALCS: David Ortiz and Shane Victorino

    2024 ALDS: Lane Thomas
