  1. I am not a big stats person and prefer the eye test.
Chicago played a very disciplined system and gave all Jets lines trouble .
The 55,81 &13 line was effective against Chicago, both 81 & 13 hit posts in 5 on 5 play and they had lots of 5 on 5 chances
Ehlers has now played for 4 coaches on the Jets and they all see him the same way
Ehlers has had 5 or 6 glaring give away's in the first 2 games, not a good way to gain coaches confidence ( This has always been an issue )
Perfetti looks just like he did in the last half of last season, slow and unable to drive any play
Namestnikov appears to have lost a step
Moving Ehlers up might help, but then you would really have a weak second ( third line), who would center 91 & 81 ? Vlad is not the answer
Just a few observations, it's early lets see where the team after 10 games

  2. The play died on ehlers stick many times last game, he frustrates his line mates. He will be traded this year for a D man and as much as a like the player the discourse from people who look at an advanced stats player card and seem to know better than NHL coaches is so cringe that I’m welcoming it.
