Playing QB for us is very hard. Having any sort of success, even if fleeting, is noteworthy. To make it all the way to the Championship and Divisional, extraordinary.

I will restate something I said a few times even after Tannehill got a bit old/washed. He is definitively and statistically the best QB we’ve had since Steve McNair and it isn’t particularly close.
It was time to move on, but even so we must remember as a fanbase that Tanne in his prime was borderline Elite. It will likely be some time before we get another of that caliber again.
Eh don’t worry. If Kerry Collins arc is to be believed, we only have to suffer through a Rusty Smith/Jake Locker QB in order to get a “generational” mobile QB who’s eventually benched for an aging vet who way over performs and indirectly causes roster degradation due to lower draft picks and organizational misunderstanding of success

Our offense loves to remind us of him getting 17 points in his honor and quitting.
Who reckons we should go after Arch Manning in the draft in a couple years?
Nah he was overpaid for what he was the last couple of years we had him
How do we tank till we can draft manning?
I feel like guys like Darnold and Tannehill should be a lesson to us about being impatient with QBs. Playing QB in the NFL is hard and not everyone is a natural like Stroud. Sometimes guys take years and a change of scenery to figure it out. Levis has the tools and all he has to do to be a capable starter is not make dumb turnovers. That hasn’t happened yet but if he can even just half that, he can be the guy.
He still needed to go. The rose tinted glasses people wear when it comes to Tannehill is wild. He had one NEARLY elite year in 2019 and that was off the back of a historically good running back performance that allowed Tannehill to pass very few times but be efficient. And the o line was a gift from god that year.
Other than that season he had good games and bad games like most of the other mediocre quarterbacks we’ve had.
Ryan Tannehill is the second best QB of the Titans era.
I hope people remember him during the Henry season and not for the 3INTs cause he and Henry made us relevant.
Right now on offense it feels like we have very little talent.
He played well for us for a short time but the fact that we’re clamoring for post 2021 Tannehill just shows how bad it’s gotten.
Just like fans did Lewan. Tannehill was a great qb for two years and good for two years and mid for half season.
He had the lowest QBR in the league when he got hurt last year. Levis sucking doesn’t make him good.
