Going to my first playoff game ever and my first Royals game since like 2019. I love the Chiefs but baseball has always been my favorite sport and it has been painful for my favorite team to be so bad for so long. All I asked at the start of the year was that we fight for a playoff spot and boy have we done that.
I was 16 years old when Brett hit that mammoth upper deck home run off Goose Gossage to finish the sweep of the Yankees in NYC. If you had told 16 yo me I’d be a 60 year old man the next time we’d play the Yankees in the playoffs, I would have taken another hit off my bong and laughed in disbelief for 30 minutes! 😆😅😂
Royals have the pitching to limit what the Yankees can do in the ALDS but they NEED to swing the bats better to advance to the ALCS. 1.5 runs pg won't get it done in the next round
