  1. I will admit I was wrong on Shane Bowen. I’m still up in the air about Daboll. Schoen had an amazing draft

  2. We aren’t going to win many games without real WRs (or at least one real one out there). Everyone is gonna blame DJ, but we’ve SEEN this team with Slayton as the WR1. It is not a serious offense. Why would things suddenly change?

This team needs to add a second legit WR this offseason. If we want a good offense, we don’t need a QB, we need WRs. Fucking Andy Dalton is putting up more points in Carolina. Why? WEAPONS. Caleb Williams looks good, but also: WEAPONS. Is Brock Purdy THAT good or does he have WEAPONS? I can go on…

Unless you’re the Chiefs, you. Need. Weapons.

Reset your expectations when we’re running out the same skill position guys as the last few years (which has been abysmal) + an emerging rookie RB. The skill positions are everything.

I will die on this hill always and forever. 🫳🎤

  3. So tired of people calling DJ mediocre. He’s been so bad for so long we have no idea what mediocre is. Kirk cousins, Jared Goff, Kyler Murray, Tua. These are mediocre starting QB’s. And they are all miles better than DJ.

A mediocre QB will have stretches where he looks like a star. All of the guys I mentioned have made pro bowls and have been MVP candidates halfway through a season before.

Daniel jones is a disaster who has stretches where he looks mediocre.

Jones has been one of the worst starters in the league for years. The only guys who are as bad as him are either rookies who get way better and pass him, or career backups who are quickly moved on from.

  4. Some one else said it earlier in here I think, and call me pessimistic or whatever you want, but I just knew no matter what we weren’t gonna pull through. Offense didn’t have the talent to get there

  5. Imagine being the coach, calling a game that had people open on all these critical plays, and having to fall on the sword because your QB is incompetent

  6. via @Connor_J_Hughes

    > Giants LT Andrew Thomas said he is going to get an MRI tomorrow to see what’s wrong with his foot. Clearly dealing with something there.

    >Thomas wasn’t happy with his individual performance tonight.

The Andrew Thomas injury is the most concerning thing from tonight.

  7. It’s so frustrating because if we had decent running game we might’ve actually won this. I know we couldn’t keep Barkley but since we let him go the least we could’ve done is find someone who can run or get another QB. Not doing anything about losing him just destroys our offensive strategy so games like this are consequently going to be more common.

  8. one last comment before i forget this game and go to bed: Tirico & Collingsworth are ASS

  9. At this point in time as much as I love the Giants I would sacrifice them for a Knicks Championship and a Yankees World Series Victory

  10. I think I’ll just start betting against the Giants. At least I’ll get something back in exchange for the misery they put me through.

  11. The worst part of tonight might be that we gave away BJ Hill for peanuts because the organization was too incompetent to build a legitimate offensive line until this season. We traded him for Bredeson out of sheer desperation who is no longer even on our team. Hill should still be a Giant and that alone might have won us this game. That trade was always completely lopsided but we didn’t have a choice. Fuck this incompetent organization.

    Sell the team

  12. So many times tonight Jones was one second slow getting the ball out. So many times, that’s all that’s needed for the DB to close on our WR and bat the ball away. So many fucking times…
I think the Seattle game was perfect Jones. Processing fast, decision fast, throw fast. Unfortunately, we get 7 or 8 games like tonight for every 1 game like Seattle.

  13. Okay we all know he won’t be because Daboll loves Devin, but there is no reason Tracy shouldn’t be the RB1 moving forward. Someone please tell me I’m wrong.

  14. It hurts watching such a well coached team be this meh because our QB is trash. The worst part of this is I was hoping we would end up with Bill as our coach next year during the off season and Daboll is a great coach, but man is Jones ass

  15. I just read we didn’t have a single offensive play beyond 15 yards. That’s truly unwinnable football.

  16. How many more shots does Jones get? Eli Manning was benched for less.

At some point you have to make a call and move on.

  17. You guys are making us look really fucking dumb so I’m going to post this a million times.

Believe it or not – Daniel Jones is *not* the worst starter in the NFL. For some reason, this sub seems to think anyone not in the top 5 QBs are mediocre to bad, like there aren’t at least a dozen teams with bridge QBs right now.

Daniel Jones is about middle of the pack. It is the entire reason there are so many fights on here if he is good or bad. Because honestly, he is a little bit of column A (Week 5) and a little bit of column B (Week 6).

I am all for upgrading QB, drafting a highly touted prospect if we are in position to do so. But there is a reason the Jets along with a ton of other teams are still trying to find a Super Bowl caliber QB – because most QBs fall into the “average” range of being like, 10th – 20th best.

That is where we are. DJ came into this week ranked 17th by PFF. He is middle of the road, perfectly fine starting QB. He has a ceiling, everyone can see that.

But people acting like Drew Lock can step in and replace him are forgetting the Mike Glennon days. It is *not* that easy. Getting a Super Bowl tier QB is not that easy. There are only so many of them.

You make us look really stupid when you’re upvoting comments calling guys like Kirk Cousins and Jared Goff – who are both having very good seasons – “mediocre” in order to try and prove Jones is bad. He’s not and if you keep thinking that the only good QB play is top 5 QB play, you’re going to keep being disappointed.

Yes, we need to upgrade at QB. No, it is not nearly as easy as you think.

  18. Every aspect of this team (assuming healthy, sorry Greg Joseph) is honestly exceeding expectations this year and is frankly, at minimum, good. Offensive line is great for once, Tracy looks solid at RB, Nabers is a top 5-10 NFL receiver for years to come, the entire D-Line is unreal (especially Dexy putting up historic numbers), LB corps has been so good, and our young secondary has been shockingly solid (especially Nubin and Dru).

However, the notable exception is QB. Jones is just holding this team back SO much. It’s so frustrating to see the bones of a good team in there, being held back by a backup level QB who stares down targets, has trouble navigating the pocket, shits the bed in prime time every time, and simply is totally incapable of throwing a consistently ok (let alone good) deep ball. Would an upgrade at WR2 be good too with Slayton’s hands of stone? Sure, but Schoen and Daboll must (and I repeat MUST) find a new QB for the team next season.

  19. Jones being completely unable to move the ball past 15 yards is killing us. Teams will just dare to step up to the challenge knowing he’ll fail at every opportunity.

Tyrone Tracy definitely needs his number called more. Dude really lived “next man up”.

Defense is legit. Outside of a horrible run allowed to Burrow it was stout throughout the game and gave us a chance to win it. Need to work on tackling though, holy shit it was bad at moments.

  20. People were acting like this team would flirt with 0-17 at one point. No, they are much better than that, even if they aren’t quite there yet. The 2025 draft could be big for this team, I think they have to let Jones go and draft a QB in the 1st round

  21. Just a boring no good football team. I’ve watched them 3 times this year: Minnesota, Dallas and tonight. Please stop putting this team on national TV. I’m very much not making an effort to watch them anymore. Unfortunately they have lots of primetime games.

Next, Jones sucks. His best games are other QBs average games.

Last, special teams have been a disaster under Daboll.

At least the offensive line and defense have improved.

  22. I don’t understand why we keep doing those play action scramble to throw sideline plays. Jones never find anyone open and just chemucks it out of bounds. Either fix those routes or build chemistry so that someone can scramble themselves open.

  23. The interception jones threw had to be one his worst throws I’ve ever seen and that’s saying a lot in year 6. Lmaooo I genuinely couldn’t believe it

  24. Was at the game, this team is good. Jones is not.

We get a competent QB, we smoke the Bengals tonight.

  25. Being good, even being great 25% or 50% of the time doesn’t cut it. Jones supporters don’t seem to understand that concept. Part of what makes a great qb is consistency which I really hope everyone can agree DJ does not have.

  26. Realistically how many years do you guys think the QB search will take? My guess is 5-6 at a minimum

  27. The losing is bad, but even worse this team is fucking HORRIBLE to watch

    Get a real quarterback

  28. I know they not gonna sit him till they are mathematically out but my god man they might ruin their cap when he gets hurt on one of those runs and lowering his shoulder move.

  29. Was at the game. Had fun and defense was good (for the most part). But damn that was a bummer on offense.
