  1. Have to grind it down to the middle names. I know the senior Pettersson is Fredrick (technically, Fredrick is his first name), so we can just start calling him Fred.

Not sure if the younger Pettersson has a middle/other name.

  2. I want Pettersson to break out as an elite 2-way player, a la Datsyuk or Zetterberg. He was 7th in Selke voting a couple of years back, I want him to start getting more notice and maybe even cracking top-5.

  3. Hi Guys! I listen to all the podcasts! However, after John Shannon’s tirade about how great Colin Campbell was in spite of the facts Matt was giving him, I instantly tune out and don’t listen to these segments with him. No respect. I’m not alone.

  4. I predict Vancouver will change places with Nashville in the standings and Petey will finish with a disappointing 67 points because he is still battling that tendonitis . That with no Demko (he probably will not play more than 20 games at the most and poor goal tending will lead to those predicted results. In theory If everything went great and i turn out to be incorrect about Demko and Pete's injuries they could finish in a similar spot as last season as the players they brought in have a higher ceiling than most people think, but chemistry is everything so i will just wait and see how they execute on the game plan. I still see them as a playoff team and i think this is a better playoff team than last years version, so maybe in the end they have a more successful season than last year. No doubt they will still be competitive and fun to watch. Truth is last year was easy as pie for me to predict they would make the playoffs easily and probably will be a top four team but this year there are way more intangibles to make such a confident prediction. It is quite possible they don't make the playoffs at all and yet they have the players to finish near the top. Health of the players is the biggest factor in the final results in my opinion.
