J.J Picollo said near the top of their shopping list is finding a leadoff guy that can get on base. After that, looking for someone for the middle of the order. #Royals

God that makes me so happy to hear
I honestly cannot wait to see what JJ cooks up this winter.
My expectations may be too high after last year and the probable demand for some goodwill by Sherman to drum up support for the stadium vote. But JJ has proven to be an effective GM and has kept his promises so far while making good moves overall during his reign.
He did everything he said he would last year so time to sign some good bats boys. I bet we are looking more enticing for free agents now as well with Bobby’s big year and a playoff berth.
Garcia I feel like FINALLY in the last couple games became “that” guy but too little too late
I can’t believe we are gonna get Soto
Another post by Jack Johnson said that J J and Sherman haven’t had discussions about the budget but there is the expectation that it will be “similar to last season with Sherman’s flexibility in increasing payroll”
So if I’m reading that right payroll could go up again next year?
Sherman did so much damage to his reputation last year this is hard to get excited about this. Instead of being excited about two years of an increased payroll to remain competitive; now all I can think about is what are his ulterior motives to this.
