  1. “He beat the shit out of me but it motivated me to play better now, no hard feelings”

  2. Way too many people don’t know shit about hockey that got upset over this.

I’ve gotten into arguments in a ball hockey league with teammates and shoving occurred. And later we had a beer together.

BALL HOCKEY. Because we cared and wanted to win.

And this is the fucking NHL.

Competition brings out the best and worst sometimes. And in high level competition it can get ugly.

But this is the kind of shit I want to see out of this organization. It’s something we’ve lacked for a decade and a half. No one ever gave a shit about winning. And now that we do people want to whine about it?

Do you want this team to argue and scrap with each other and win? Or do you want them having tea together after a 6-1 loss? Pick one.

    Edit: words are hard

  3. The amount of people looking for drama on Reddit over the smallest things is disgusting. It’s not fucking healthy.

  4. Reminds me of Kids Day a couple years back when the little girl was doing locker room interviews and she was interviewing Dahlin. When she was done he had his turn with the microphone and asked her who her favorite Sabre was. She being about nine years old pretty instantly went with the young pretty guy on the team and said “Peyton Krebs!” and without hesitation Ras smiled and nodded to himself and then said in the thick (at the time) Swedish accent “Yah….he’s my favorite too.”

    Classic.

  5. I am not a Sabres fan (full disclosure) but I think the scrap is a great sign for this team. It shows they aren’t playing around and injects a high level of intensity.

Krebs and Dahlin need to immediately bury the hatchet in front of the guys and this will quickly be a non-issue for the players. And it sounds like they already did.

I bet Lindy had a shit eating grin behind closed doors all day…

  6. I am loving this.

Krebs has been trending towards the villain role for a couple seasons. I can totally see Lindy pushing him towards it and then just uncorking him against teams.

  7. Tough practices generate high emotions.

We ( the fans ) are not used to high energy, high emotion, tough practices.

We’ll get there together eventually as a fan base. Those of us who know and have been there competing just have to be patient until the rest of us get on board.

Steel sharpens steel; Go Sabres !
