Watching this before my dentist appointment π
Go tigers
I wished he was asked why AJ kept putting Meadows 7th in the batting order even though he's proven he can hit lefties very well π€π€¬
When Harris said Hinch was expensive at the end was funny πππ π
Clutch hitter with good defense. BREGMAN
What to do with Jace Jung, who really has yet to prove himself? We'll find a good answer. See how he does in Spring. Some time in Toledo isn't so bad, perhaps. We'll find the answer that fits.
Detroit player of the year? Of course it's Skubal. Who is 2nd? The manager.
No impactful free agents, no trades. The Tigers didn't have a great season in ticket sales, plus, the meltdown of Diamond (Ballys) means the Tigers are going to have an uncertain revenue stream on tv rights. Don't see the Tigers changing course on splash free agent signings. There is a strong argument for trades, the Tigers have pieces to trade and should be finding Hinch some added pitching and strong contact hitters. If Harris is looking for "fit" that sounds like a narrow focus. You have to wonder how far the Tigers could go if Hinch had three more strong starting pitchers and a few more contact hitters in the lineup.
Tork, Mize, Manning and Maeda are gone.
Harris completely lost me with the Javy comments. He hurts you every time he walks up to the plate and the hip rotation has nothing to do with him chasing sliders literally feet off the plate.
