Alternate jerseys in the playoffs risks the Mandate of Heaven the Mets currently have but I appreciate the reasoning. Mets should immediately try to promote a Blackout at the Ballpark.

The pinstripes are always my first choice, and I have the same opinion as Howie on the blacks, but when I can pitch as good as Severino I’ll start to complain.

The one plus to taking the white trim out this year is that now the black tops can go with our away grey pants on the road. Hope we start using that on occasion next year, it’s odd having 4 home unis and only 1 road
