Bernard Rainman.

We need Bernard love. A 3rd round pick is up there with two players picked 13th overall and ahead of probably the most celebrated RIGHT tackle in Sewell.

And it’s no coincidence that Q is back to Q since he doesn’t have to babysit that position like he did for a few seasons.

  1. Dude has been an absolute monster and he’s only getting better. We’ve got our blindside shored up for the foreseeable future and it’s awesome to see.

  2. He’s an absolute monster but it also helps having the best guard in football right next to you. It takes off a ton of pressure

  3. I read this wrong and thought “that can’t be right”.

Maybe they should have said “Top-five offensive tackles in lowest pressure rate allowed”.

  4. Making a thread about our outstanding starting LT with a literal picture of his name and you manage to misspell his first AND last name. Come on.

  5. Dude is legit probably the best pick of Ballard’s tenure when you look at the production we’re getting vs where he was taken. Insane insane value.

  6. Remember when we were rioting because Matt Pryor was the starting LT. Insane how Ballard can find a franchise LT in the 3rd round. He’s got his faults but god damn can he build an oline. Ans even now with out starters aging, you can see the depth pieces should be able to step in and lead the new age.

  7. But Ballard sucks, can’t give him credit or the Reddit goons who aren’t colts fans will come out.

  8. You never hear his name called in game. That’s the biggest compliment you can give a Left Tackle.

That was a home run selection

  9. Before the season started, my FIL asked my wife what Colts player I would want a jersey of. I told her to tell him Rainman. He thought she was wrong or just guessing so he got me a Richardson jersey. Why would someone want an o linemen jersey?

Obviously not complaining, it was an incredibly nice gift and I love the jersey. He’s the best FIL I could ask for.

But I can’t say I wasn’t a smidge disappointed because Rainman is going to be an anchor of the team for years to come. I also love watching the trenches in general.

  10. Lucky Latu got to go against Tunsil his first NFL game and as you might remember it didn’t go well. Not surprised he’s first. Big props to Raimann for making the list. He bulked up, worked on his craft and he’s not that little rosy cheeked choirboy anymore.

  11. I know PFF ain’t everything, but it sure seems like we’d have a different record were it not for injuries and our defensive coaching… (though the coaching absolutely rolls up to Ballard)

  12. I’ve crapped on Ballard a LOT, but this is an issue that he fixed through the draft, and I tip my hat to him.

  13. Amazing draft pick… This is what makes it difficult for some of us to dislike Ballard.
