Ugh. The Steelers really need to win this one. It’s not a must-win by any means but 6-2 at the bye looks a lot better than 5-3 and they can’t get to 6-2 if they don’t win on Sunday night.

This is a statement game for us. It’s gonna be tough and we will need to put up points against a solid defense.
Makes sense they are running ~~Hackett’s~~ Rodger’s offense which Adams played in for 3 years. He should be able to get up to speed with terminology fairly quickly even if he isn’t on the field for every play.
JPJ did a decent job on Adams last year. They didn’t match up much because Raiders moved him to Wallace’s side to attack him instead. JPJ only allowed one catch on I believe 3 targets and that was on a curl where he allowed no YAC.
The question will be does JPJ follow Adams who I think he profiles better at defending. Stay of Wilson or do they just do the side thing. If they do I imagine a lot of Adams on D Jack.
Getting Highsmith back though should help pass rush get home more often. Jets LG is also suspect so Cam Heyward needs to have a big game.

I certainly dont wish injury upon anyone (except Deshaun Watson of course), but damn it would be funny if Adams pulls up on a route on Sunday with a strained hammy.
Well at least I’m encouraged the team won’t be overlooking the jets this week. Without the Adams trade I could totally see this being another game like the colts where the team looks massively unprepared
