I think a big element of watching the Red wings Vs watching many other teams, is that the Wings just aren't getting aggressive on D to pressure whomever has the puck. They treat it a lot like the power play defense where you box up, stick to certain areas to block them from coming in, but largely give up a lot of space outside to move things around. I'd really like to see them be more aggressive and be able to replace one another's positions to keep the front of the net protected at all times.
We need a win streak. Just a few games. If the defense plays decent, we can’t score. If we score, our defense collapses. We need a full team effort tomorrow night.
Mazur- Kasper- Berggren would be a hell of a line for the future.
I’m glad to see the youngsters getting time would love to see more of that without diminishing are experience

It's clear most of the team wants Lalonde fired. That's why they're coasting. So far the offense looks worse – less goal scoring and defense looks the same or worse. Steve didn't do enough in the offseason and Kasper needs to be up.
