  1. I don’t care what r/baseball says, two of the best butts in baseball hitting home runs in a postseason game for all to enjoy is good for the sport.

  2. Rumors of our pitching’s demise have been greatly exaggerated (for now)

42 straight scoreless innings (just ignore the previous 9)

  3. r/baseball’s 7/11 slowly getting closer to reality…. Dodgers vs Yankees here we come.

  4. This Ohtani guy seems really good. Wonder why it took so long to see him in the postseason.

  5. An interesting [bit of Grimace lore](https://mcdonalds.fandom.com/wiki/Grimace):

    > Following an appearance at Dodger Stadium on July 18th, 2012, vs. the Philadelphia Phillies, dancing to Ram Jam’s “Black Betty” (1977), Grimace seemingly disappeared.

WHAT DID THE DODGERS DO TO GRIMACE ON JULY 18TH, 2012? What strange power do they have to banish the Grimace and his magic? Are they using it again now?

  6. Pardon the Interruption had “how concerned should Dodgers be about slump” as a topic today

  7. Ump scorecard gonna look crazy tomorrow

Obviously didn’t impact the outcome, but damn it was frustrating early

  8. Kike and Buehler better not get shit on by our fanbase when Buehler goes 2 innings giving up 5 runs and Kike goes 0-4 with three strike outs and a ground out in the middle of July against the fucking Giants next year.

  9. It’s game 3 of the NLCS and I still can’t figure out this Mets team.

    Are they good?

    Do they suck?

Is this all part of Grimace’s sick plan to ensure maximum chaos and force a clutch game 7 win for the Mets?

  10. Each Dodgers win drains the life of this sub it seems lol

Hopefully this return to form for the pitching sticks rather than pivots for Game 4, but a big win on the road can never complain on that.

  11. Mets fans, I love your stadium. These views from the field and drone shots above show how pretty it is.

  12. Dodgers’ pitching is like longass shut out streak, one implosion inning, long ass shutout streak…

  13. Mets strategy of scoring runs ever alternative game might not work if this series goes to game 7

  14. Even if he hadn’t given up the home runs to Ohtani and Muncy, can someone explain the thinking behind why Megill was in there for 72 pitches in a game the Mets were losing by 4+ runs? Isn’t he supposed to be one of the better relief pitchers for the Mets? If so, why not keep him in reserve for a game you’re winning or that’s at least closer than 4 runs? And at 72 pitches was it worth possibly not having him for the next few games? I guess if he started during the regular season it makes some sense, but still…72 pitches in this game seems like a lot

  15. Buehler labored a bit through those four innings but his stuff was nasty. Idk if it was the camera angle but it looked like he was throwing a wiffle ball. So much movement on his pitches. Hoping the bats can bounce back tomorrow. GG Doyers.
