  1. Seriously… can we not? Can't we let these guys go off into the sunset? Of course not, because if Bowman can get hired, so too can Quenneville I guess.

  2. Idk with Lolonde anymore, the Wings are definitely playing uninspired. And that usually lands on the head of the coach. Im rarely part of the "blame the coach or GM" squad, but outside of a few players, they should be playing WAY better. Might just be time to shake it up at coach. As for Yzerman, he inherited a literal dumpster fire. Ain't no GM in the league whipping this team in shape any sooner.

  3. Part of what I love about the Wings franchise is they aren't mired in a lot of these controversies. If they hired Joel Q., I would lose a little respect for the franchise and Steve Y., and I've been a fan for decades.

  4. Wings fan here. While Joel is a great coach, it's his moral character that has me saying no to him. Sure he could bring in some wins, and I haven't been overly pleased with Lalonde (especially with some the lines he been putting out there lately), I'd much rather look elsewhere.

  5. I can definitely see Lalonde being let go if they get off to a poor start in the first 10 games… I don't feel like Quennville would be Yzerman's pick to replace him though. I think it'd be someone nobody was expecting
