2. If you're a Yankee fan, you're saying to yourself "we need a closer". I mean c'mon, 2 run lead going into the bottom of the 9th and you give up a 2 run homer, then you take a 1 run lead into the bottom of the 10th and you give up a 2 run walk off. Seriously.

5. As a Yankees fan, when they brought in Weaver in Game 2 I didn't like it. Everyone on TV said it was the obvious move, but we had a four run lead in the 9th and let them see Weaver for the second time when we could have used someone else. There was also a "if you try to push a good thing, it's gonna come back to bite you" feeling to it.

   Even though we won, Ramirez hit a HR, and I've been worried since then that Cleveland would feel confident against him, and he'd lose his confidence in himself. After he gave up the double in the 9th today, I wanted Holmes to get the last out, as crazy as that would have sounded to me not long ago. And given what Holmes did in the 10th, maybe it wouldn't have mattered. I knew after he gave up the leadoff single that Cleveland was going to win.

   Don't feel too good about Gil tomorrow in a game when we need a long outing by the starter.
