PHLY Flyers Postgame: Horrendous 2nd period dooms Ivan Fedotov vs Kraken
Well, at least it didn’t go to overtime.
The Flyers certainly seemed eager to get back to Philadelphia, and not all that interested in challenging the Seattle Kraken to a competitive hockey game after the first 20 minutes.
Scott Laughton scored a pair in the first, and the Flyers lead 2-1. Then Fedotov imploded and Philly’s defense wasn’t much better as Seattle scored 4 unanswered in the middle frame to effectively end the game before the final frame.

Do flyers actually need to be good and get in playoffs this year? They got (3!) first rounders. I have watched these games and their defense is not good. Their offense is pretty mid. Michkov is different but its still not enough. Let youngsters play and get experience and just continue to build a team for the future

I think the narrative needs to start transitioning from Ivan Fedotov being bad to how good Sam is with how bad our defense is currently.
The question is how much leeway do you give Fedotov to adjust to the North American Style of play?
Can we get a CUTTER SUCKS LETS GO JAMIE!!! Chant going at the Anaheim game can we spread the word. Maybe Jamie can get it together similarly to how Trea Turner did.
You guys have really good chemistry together. Good to see Steve outside of Flyperbole as well. I hope this postgame show continues like this.

Don’t care for what people are saying about Fedotov. Dude just got out of military and his country is at war. Don’t mean to make this political by any means but that takes a toll being away from friend and family and having to adjust quickly. No ones talking about that either.
