  2. Instead of screwing around with these mediocre bats, what they should have done is what CLE did and get Lane Thomas from Nats even if they had to give up Mountcastle. Nats are so desperate for a 1B that Rizzo probably would have made the deal even with O's.

  5. I would bring Rivera back at all costs, his numbers with us were very good. Shame he wasn't given a shot come playoffs. Slater did not play the biggest role, i truly think you have no clue what you talk about day in day out. I would bring Eloy back because of the high upside nature of his skill set, its not like his contract would break the bank. Would also give you insurance if you decide to move away from Santander too. Soto could be brought back to AAA, injuries can pop up at the worst times(case and point this year)

  7. Slater – roster spot occupier. Said he hit lefties well here, didn't do elsewhere. League average. Redundant. They just got rid of an average Austin why get another one.
    Jimenez – no
    Rivera – no. Urias more versatile and hits better (Rivera 87 OPS+ career)
    Soto – minor league depth
    Mateo – non tender
