On the team’s 49th shot of the night, Nathan MacKinnon sealed the deal for the Colorado Avalanche in a 4-3 overtime win over the Anaheim Ducks. Ross Colton found the back of the net twice for the Avs’ while Mikko Rantanen tallied three assists.

The Anaheim Ducks are the biggest bunch of frauds that I have ever rooted for in the NHL. We did not deserve to win against the Colorado Avalanche and we do not deserve to make the playoffs.
The puck went out of play prior to the Ducks 2nd goal. The refs missed it, that happens but the situation room didn’t. They should’ve blew the horn and called back the goal just like they do when the refs occasionally miss the puck crossing the goal line.
It puzzles me to know how the ducks survived this where it should’ve been out of reach.
Craziest game ever, bet twice on avs winning when they were down 2-0 to the ducks and then they come back and take the lead, ducks score to tie it back up with 13 seconds left in the game and then Avs win it in OT and I cash out 🤙 heart was pounding in ot lmao
anaheim is good enough to found ways to stick around, vastly better than last year.
I may have aged 40 years after this game but a win is a win. Colton looks very good on the top line.

Watching this game as a neutral fan really sucked because of the biased commentary.
Dostal with over 40 saves was the best player on the ice for the useless Ducks.

A perfect game winning goal. When it slowly slides over the goal line, it means the other team did everything to prevent it. Great game. NHL delivers again!

1st goal should have been blown dead. Manson shoveled the puck to Giorgiev's side, it was covered for several seconds. Refs let them continue to whack at it so of course it pops out. 2nd goal should have been blown dead. The puck went out of play, and hit the netting up high. The ref even apologized to Bednar for missing it. 2 out of 3 goals caused by idiotic refs.
I think it’s time for Bednar to say goodbye to Georgiev.
