This is a good video and i respect and agree with the individual narrative in regards to what cowboys need, player specifics and needing to make a splash. However the hard to swallow fact of the matter is DAK sucks as a skill leader on the field. He’s great as a stat player. However when it’s time for him to play clutch, improvise, stay calm, not make mistakes when it matters DAK simply isn’t that guy. He’s talented and a hell of a stat player; however he’s not a SKILL Leader. He doesn’t possess the mental skills to get us there even though he does have the talent. Only way trading for Alvin would make sense is if we change our approach and stop relying on DAK as a decision maker and lean heavy on the run. However if we take Alvin and keep our same type of DAK reliant approach it’ll be another good/great player wasted on the Dallas cowboys team. Dak simply isn’t the guy mentally/ skillfully. Like I said Dak is talented but it means nothing when he can’t properly use it. Like his pics are the dumbest in the league. His sacks are due to most of the time him holding the ball to long and not properly feeling pocket pressure his pocket awareness sucks. He doesn’t step up and run when the protection collapse he looks goofy and confused.
