  1. at the start of the year we werent even suppose to come close to making the playoffs.. that being said, it's ALWAYS THE F****** Yankees. Maybe just maybe if Bieber was here and healthy, it wouldve took less stress off the bullpen this year and they wouldve had more gas. idk, feels bad.

  2. Any doubts remember last season for the guardians or watch next season where the Tigers Abd the Royals and the the Twins are getting better and they spend more money

  3. The pitcher pitch good all season and just couldn't get better in the post… that's the difference .. im kind of wishing Detroit would have played The Yankees… Yankees gonna choke in the World Series tho.. so don't worry Guards.. we be back next year.. even tho we got sent home twice in the post by the Yankees.. this is now a rivalry for years to come.. so lets get them back next year.. good job for the manager that did excellent in his first year as a coach for a young great team to come.. bring back this group and add some more hitters.. and pitchers.. we need a pitcher with a WICKED change UP and NASTY curve ball… go GUARDS

  4. Long as there is a cheap owner who all he does is hope and pray he can find a coach to coach up the players and develop talent. That's fine and all but you Need to Spend More!!That is why terry left. Tried of cheap ownership. See if LA will take some of trout contract and get him. Thats one bat.

  5. I just cannot understand why these pitchers continue to “challenge” the only three hitters the Yankees have that can hit bombs. Is it arrogance? First base was open when Stanton came up. Why throw him anything even close to a strike?? Then later Gaddis thinks he’s going to be the guy to shut down Soto. Again, why throw him strikes?? There are six guys in their lineup that make up 15% of the payroll. Take your chances with them!!

  6. Vogt's biggest blunder wasn't pitching to Stanton yet again! No he should have broken out the old Pedro Cerrano Jobu idol and gave it the required amount of sacrificial rum

On a serious note Cleveland since the mid 90's has always been a hell of a tough team for Yankees in playoffs. Even though it only went 5 games this was such a stressful / close series. Keep your head up Cleveland fans you got a solid young core / team who will be back in playoffs for seasons to come

  7. I mean, it's Cleveland. The same city that paid Deshaun Watson $230M and defended him until he proved he sucks. Of course, the Guardians are going to lose!

  8. I don’t want to hear about payroll discrepancies. Tickets cost between $170 and $2500 at Yankee stadium per ticket. Also you can pay $4000 a month for a small studio apartment in the city. The Yankees pay revenue sharing to teams like the Guardians so they can compete but no small market teams EVER admit that. Owners like Larry Dolan pocket that money and you know it. Stop complaining until revenue sharing is totally done away with. Would you rather go back to 12 teams ?

  9. The shortage of good starting pitchers came back to bite us. Can’t expect to go much further than we did with starters pitching 2 innings, and it’s hard to hit well when you’re giving up that many hits on defense. Errors early in the series were costly but we’re a young team and NY is a hard ballpark to play at. Hoping that Dolan sees the incentive to spend next season and that we build on the culture. Vogt will learn from this series. We had a good season and have a lot to be excited about next season.

  10. BULLSHIT BULL,,,, BULLSHIT,,, Why didn't vogt walk Stanton to get to chisum. How do you go to the mound with concerns about Bibee and turn right around and pitch to Stanton. Poor manager decision and it cost us the game literally. All things CONSIDERED WE HAD A GREAT YEAR look at what the guards overcame. I will watch every game next year as my wife and I did this year.

  11. I'm glad I didn't spend a second watching MLB since the name change. Seeing this from as a non fan now, it's obvious the league and its sponsors only want the largest cities in the world series. Those top 8 teams should just form their own league and be done with it.

  12. Thanks for all the coverage Bull. It was a lot of fun. Disappointing end to the series. Yanks were beatable but we beat ourselves instead. Hoping we can build and try again next year. Go Guards!
