The Canucks just got PERFECT Revenge…
The Vancouver Canucks beat the Philadelphia Flyers in a 3-0 nhl game. the team highlights were Elias Pettersson, Tyler Myers and Kevin Lankinen who was an absolute beast. Tyler Myers played in his 1000th nhl game, JT Miller had a scare at the start of the game off the first faceoff and Nils Hoglander, Kiefer Sherwood both also had goals!

Lankinen was an absolute stud! Still hoping Demko will be back & healthy soon, but I have no worries about letting Lankinen take charge as our leading goalie. I love Silovs, but I think he definitely needs just a little bit more experience to truly shine on the NHL level. Looking forward to his future.
It was absolutely great to see Petey get back up to speed a little bit as well. I absolutely know how hard it is to perform under pressure, which makes me all the more sympathetic when thinking about someone like him with such a huge contract hanging over his head. Hopefully we'll see him return to his original form sooner rather than later!
Congrats Tyler for your 1000th game! I remember being lucky enough to attend Trevor Linden's 1000th game all those years ago, and it truly is a testament to his hard work that he's been able to have such a great career in the NHL.

canucks will be a top 10 team this year but without depth in D its gonna be hard to go far
Silovs was in a groove last year in the playoffs so it was a bit unfair to expect him to be the same as he was in the playoffs. Great to see Lankinen be a pressure relief valve that this team desperately needs right now in Demkos absence. Ill say this about Myers. Hes a guy who you wished used his size to his advantage more. Good offensive vision for breakout passes and pinching in the o zone. If he manages his defensive lapses hes valuable to the team.
I think Toccet has convinced Petey that you don't need to score 65 goals like Mathews to be a number 1 center…..there is another way to play, like Barkov. 25 to 30 goals 80 to 90 points and really responsible 2 way center.
I love how Canucks can always pull a good goalie out of the hat!

i agree with you saying they are back on track. even if they lost the game to florida, which im glad they didnt, they played much better hockey the last 2 games.
