  1. Aaron Gordon is worth enough money for the Nuggets, IMO. If he leaves some meat on the bone, then hopefully the Nuggets would get another big time player. Take example from Jalen Brunson.

  2. I think you can swap out MPJ for Cam Johnson & will still get the same production just on a cheaper contract. Possibly add a bit more to the bench with the extra salary left in that trade. If they decide to add more players to that trade

  3. Aaron does a lot for DEN. Defensive anchor , elevates his game in playoffs. Very dependable in post season! He handles the ball; That was huge in MN series. he plays Point center/ PT forward when needed cause of their lack of depth. He does a lot of intangibles that win games that none of the other starters ESPECIALLY MpJ not willing to do. I think it will benefit him to get around 110M/3yr ; that way he is not stuck with them for 4 yrs.

  4. The way to fix the issue is to negotiate down the max in the next CBA but the NBAPA ainโ€™t gonna allow that soโ€ฆ

This is just whatโ€™s itโ€™s gonna be the next handful of years

If you want to compete for a title, more than likely you need to be in the 1st and 2nd apron and potentially be a multi year offender

Only a handful of teams are going to do that and itโ€™s the big market teams

The other option is strike gold in the draft and make some really great trades

  5. The way I see it, they both need each other. So they can figure it out, I donโ€™t see a lot of teams giving him a shot even though he can play. Itโ€™s the only place heโ€™s shined and team does good with him on it.

  6. Kenny what twin !!! , you telling me Zach ainโ€™t good enough to be a number 2 when he never played with a number one in his career so how can you assume that poor take NGL

  7. They better pay AG because if not yall screwed on defense around the rim and hurting on offense because joker is not it on defense he couldn't guard a high schooler in the paint.

  8. Kenny cut the braids off?

Aaron Gordon is not a max player BUT he might be worth close to that to the Nuggets he's still just 29 years old and right in the middle of his prime. But he probably has the most replaceable skillset.

But my dude has a ring…he's not gunna be in the HOF he needs to go get his money.

  9. WOWWWWWW no one on this show mentioned how Gordon had his moments in the NBA finals where he gave Jimmy Buckets a very rough go.. Even locked on heat podcast gave Gordon his props for slowing down Jimmy to a standstill in those finals!

  10. The CBAs rules to get a max or supermax contract are too attainable.
    1. rework the CBA so that there are more tiers to contracts.
    And more importantly,
    2. No contract can go for more than 3 years.
This way, the players benefit because they can negotiate for more, more frequently when they are playing well AND the owners can get off โ€œbad contractsโ€ when someone loses their form or is injured year on year, making room to sign more in form players.

  11. AG isn't a max guy, but the max they can pay him is like 160 for 4 years. And he's probably worth like 140 for 4 years and no way they offer him that. Imagine how much the Pistons would love a guy with title experience like AG. He gonna leave unless they dump MPJ this year

  12. I appreciate getting four regular dudes on a show, but none of them understands the cap. There are more than one max. There is a 30% max, there is 35% super max, then there are the max available contract for those that signed non-max deals in the past. AG is asking for a Max deal that averages like 35 million a year. That is very different than the super max deal that Jokic has that pays him up to 60m a year. Thats a big difference. Get someone on the show that understands these figures or they will just look dumb saying "a max is too much" and "AG cant be top five paid NBA player" when that isn't even close to the case

  13. Signing guys like Aaron Gordon to max contracts is why teams ebb and flow from great to not so good. There's NO WAY I'd give him max contract money, trade him if you can't walk him down 40 million or so
