  1. Proud of the 2024 Season & yes, Mendoza did a good job in his rookie year. But in this interview, jeez, get Mendoza a thesaurus -he says adversity seven times!!! Try hard times, difficulties, mountains to climb, setbacks, obstacles to overcome, etc. 🙂

  2. It was a fun ride 💪🏼 we build off this year , so much money coming off the books this year , don’t let this deter you from the success the Mets are gonna have in the future , trust me they’re building a team like ATL and the 90s Yankees with our prospects and deep pockets with cohen , beginning of the season we would of never expected this , our entire life the Mets sucked but this is 1 year with stearns and Mendoza and they got so much better. Beef up the pitching staff or sign Soto.

  4. Mendoza should be manager of the yesr for NL…that being said, he and the organization totally mismanaged the pitching rotation in this NLCS. Singa barely pitched this season, and how he gets a roster spot, for the “hope” he can give 2 or 3 innings??? Even if he pitched well, and he was so bad, he could not throw strikes, how can you not start Peterson in game 1? He was Mets best pitcher 10-3 2.90 era. You put him in the bullpen, and start a guy who pitched once all season?? Then, tonight down 7-4 , you put Singa in the game, again? I mean, you have to be kidding me!!! By him giving up 3 runs in the 8th inning takes all the pressure off the Dodgers. I know it’s speculation, but when Mets score their 5th run in the 9th inning, they are a bloop and a blast from winning. The Dodgers should have had that type of pressure on them….but the Mets mismanaged the pitching staff and they were just not given a chance to be amazing. They demoralized the team in Game 1, when Singa couldn’t throw anything even close to a strike, and they even sent him out in the second inning!😮. I am so pissed off still 😊, The Mets stil might have lost , but don’t make it easy for a great team like the Dodgers 😊

  5. Only the man's first try in the playoffs. As a rookie big league manager, Making the playoff :1/1 ,Playoff series won: 2/3, looking for many more to come!

  6. i heard you say adversity 6 times, here are some other words you can use in the future instead of saying the same word many times…Adversity is a noun, other words you can use are, Mishap, Misfortune, or just Difficulty…during the off season you may want to pick up a book and read it…

  7. i never understand people who say they are proud of someone or something bigger then them its almost like a backwards compliment. it is something in my mind example a father would say to his child not the other way around. it in my mind is a very strange thing to say. maybe i am over thinking it. i noticed people started saying this a lot a couple of years ago all of a sudden. weird

  8. This stings but thanks for a great year Carlos! You gave us something to believe in and we have definitely found our manager! The Dodgers were better than us. We had our opportunities and it didn’t work out. I’m proud of the Mets we fought until the last out.

  9. The worst organization in MLB history. They haven't won a WS in 39 years. Only 2 in 63 years.
Hey, I have an idea. Tell the owner that never picked up a baseball in his life, tell him to hire more Latino's!

  10. Having watched sports for so long now and been through MANY great years that have fallen short, it hurts even more. Sadly, in sports if you don't win it all then it doesn't matter how great you looked or the adversity you overcame. It is so tough to make it this far and when you do u cant let go. There's been many years where things end promisingly and then they dont even make playoffs for another 10 years.

  11. The Dodgers knew what pitches were coming in certain situations. Mets were too predictable and used the same game plan they had against the Phillies. Kudos to the Dodgers amazing scouting and analytics department. Mets need to improve drastically in this area. It was terrible in this series.

  12. The Mets starting pitching was considered the best among the teams left by a lot of people. What happened then? Here is what happened. The Mets used the same pitching patterns they had used in the previous two playoff series. The Dodgers knew exactly the Mets tendencies and how to execute. The Dodgers did their homework. The Mets didn't plus leaving a million people on base didn't help either. The Dodgers will do the same to the Yanks. They have no chance.
