  1. Amazing that we are the only team that got Dusty his only WS ring as a manager using Luhnow and Hinch's staff. Dusty just sounds like a disgruntled employee when the winning and success stopped in '23. I'm sure him changing up the staff wouldn't have been any more successful with his own people. HIs decision making was questionable with his usage of Maldonado in critical situations.

  2. I think a main problem with Altuve leading off is that even in his mid 30s hes still one of the hottest bats on the team. Thats a good problem to have, but shows a glaring hole that the rest of the lineup leaves behind Altuve, Tucker, Alvarez. As good as Yainer was his approach at the plate is terrible.

  3. Crane needs to hire a private investigator and get dirt on every team/player/executive that slandered the Astros. Then go after them and bring them down..

  4. The hitting hasn't been good since 2021 at best yet the hitting coaches remain. Ridiculous. Yes the offense isn't all their fault, but some change has to be made. I'd vote better players, but theyd on't have the $$$$ for that.

  5. Dusty Baker inherited AJ Hinch's/Jeff Lunhow's/ James Clicks' championship dynasty team and let it run on autopilot until it started to crash from his antiquated and personal-driven management style and complete lack of talent (or non-talent) recognition. Now Baker is on the Braves office staff doing who knows what while Hinch is building another legacy team in Detroit.

  6. Another thing, no matter who it is, we´ll never be satisfied with the team. I has to suck being a pro ballplayer, if it wasn´t for the money, it wouldn´t be worth it. No wonder the players are going out of their way to cash in as much as they can. As fans, it´s best to tune out this crap on occasion, and for a good while. Too much complaining about things we shouldn´t care about, there are more important things.

  7. I disagree with Josh about Altuve on his approach. I never liked having Springer lead off because your lead-off guy is supposed to set the table for the guys behind him. He should be working the count and finding any way to get on, not swinging for the fences. Of course, it didn't help that Bregman, Tucker and Alvarez all missed significant time with injuries.
