Quite a lot of big news overnight, including two contenders losing talented key WRs to injury:
1. Apparently TB Bucs WR Chris Godwin broke his ankle in last night's game.
2. 49ers WR Brandon Ayuk had season-ending surgery for torn knee ligaments
3. I see that, allegedly, Lions WR Jameson Williams has been suspended for Performance Enhancing Drugs (…a suspension that is one game late for Vikes fans…) Rumours are that it's a 2 game suspension, which is surprising, because this is his second suspension.
Of course, there is also deShaun Watson tearing his Achilles tendon, along with scummy Browns fans cheering that fact. (..inexcusable behaviour, regardless of the player & his failures!).
The uncomfortable truth for players, coaches & fans: The NFL season is as much a war of attrition & a test of character/discipline as it is a battle of talent & football intelligence. So much has & will change between now & the playoffs, which is why fans should follow the lead of the best players & coaches… One game at a time. ! Best wishes for speedy & complete recovery for Chis Godwin, Brandon Ayuk & DeShaun Watson!

Thank you for re-affirming JJ is the future. I love Sam and hope he gets paid this off-season, but KOC is the QB whisperer. There is no reason to pay Sam an overwhelming amount of cap space when he have someone with a higher ceiling at a cheaper cost on the roster.
