  1. How close is Triston McKenzie to a return? His 2023 injuries shut him down for most of 2024.

McKenzie is arbitration-eligible and he wanted to be able to pitch in as many seasons as possible during his arbitration-eligible years before entering free agency after the 2026 season.

  2. Offseason Check list

    1. Make Austin Hedges a coach
    2. Resign Shane Bieber to 1 or 2 year contract
    3. Need to Acquire (either through trade or free agent scrap heap like Ben Lively)

    b. Backup/ Platoon, Right handed Hitting catcher (I am in love with Connor Wong in Boston)
    4. Trade/ Release
    a. Gabe Arias
    b. George Valera
    c. Tristan Mackenzie
    5. Contract Extension Discussions
    a. Steven Kwan
    b. Cade Smith
    c. Hunter Gaddis
    d. Steven Vogt
    e. Tanner Bibee
    6. Sign Sam Hentges to a 2 year contract while he rehabs

  3. The guy I am most intriguing guy moving into next season is Juan Brito. He has absolutely nothing to prove in triple A next season. He is ready for the majors and I think the organization loves the guy, but where in the world does he fit in?

I think if they like do move Josh Naylor, there is a world where he can fit into the mix. Curious your thoughts on this.
