  1. First off Espinal was an All Star in 2022. At 4 million for a proven utility guy that in a good year shows he can play at an All Star level. The Reds would be idiots not to bring him back

  2. I think they should definitely go after an outfielder no doubt but we can’t all act like Rece hinds didn’t break baseball for a week and half I hope they can tap into whatever that was

  3. A $4m utility player that might begin the season in AAA? Either way, that’s a luxury for a small market team. Espinal is a non tender player that the Reds can possibly sign for less than $4m.

  4. Don’t know about Espinal. McLain is back playing again in the AZ fall league so we are back to a bit of a log jam in the infield. If ownership sees it as 4 mill towards a better outfielder then it is what it is.
