  1. After Festa, Mathews and Rodriguez MN farm system becomes the 15th in ranking in MLB, trading Vasquez and Paddick will further deplete the Twins organization.

  2. What are the chances we're looking at a complete rebuild with a pending sale of the Twins organization, trading Lopez, Correa and Buxton to bring down payroll by 72 million this year alone? (Remember the Pohlad's won't have to deal with the blow back from fans at that point) @SKORNorthTwinsShow

  3. So many of the prospects have been complete busts. This club just doesn't manage them very well and brings them up only when a vet gets hurt. Don't trade away vets and prospects for salary savings that is just plain dumb.

  4. Some relievers not built for the playoffs. Clase showed that in the playoffs even vs Detroit he struggled that's why probably shouldn't pitch your closer so much burned him out when they had other options to give regular season opportunity to keep him fresh

  5. Joe Ryan as a trade chip, I think is more valuable as a trade deadline deal where we're completely selling. That said, if it hits that point, I believe, then we're gonna be selling everything and everything will be on the table.

  6. These players aren't good trade bait. Maybe Larnach or Castro. Vasquez is sub-par backup catcher. Kirilloff is hurt about as often as Buxton. Face the facts, Twins need to rebuild minor leagues from ground up. Nothing easy here.

  7. I'd still rather ride my best arms for everything they've got if it'll get us into the playoffs, where anything can happen. What good does it do you to trot-out a bunch of scrubs to save arms if they're going to sabotage your chances of even getting into the playoffs? Vogt was in the ALCS while Rocco was on the couch. Also, I think it's time to stop calling Pablo our "ace". I'd argue that both Ober and Ryan out-pitched him this year.

  8. You can’t trade Willie Castro he’s needed so many times with the line up we have. Get rid of Carlos coarrea he’s hurt to much, Buxton he’s hurt to much , kirilloff he’s always hurt. If Buxton stays he plays first or DH that’s all. Coarrea trade now when he’s had a good season but he missed to much and will always be a good shortstop.

  9. I'm for trading a few Twins players, none of them were those Dex mentioned except Paddack. The idea for a team to compete is for them to get better. If we trade any those players we just as well throw in the towel & trade everyone including Correa, Buxton & Lopez & start over because we aren't going to amount to anything. We had a better team last offseason than this offseason, the idea is to compete not to become more like the CWS. Like last offseason, we could cut some fat but instead we cut muscle & added more fat. Now you want us to cut more muscles? When there is fat to be cut. Yeah, budgets suck so we can't extend players that needed to be extended. But I don't blame the budget cuts on having a bad season. It was due to bad decisions, bad trades, bad philosophies & not making the necessary trades, We had a lot of young players we could & should have traded last season to complete this team but didn't. Now they are valued less & now you want to trade needed players to further bloat this system with more prospects? Nothing has changed so expect the team to continue on the same path.

  10. In the words of Bill Murray in Meatballs- ‘It just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter!!’
As long as Falvey is at the helm, the Twins are in trouble.

  11. Andrew Morris who had success last year from Class A to A+ to AA to AAA is the one guy all the teams wanted in trades (along with 2b Luke Keaschell). Falvey needs to keep his fingers off both these guys because if they don’t make the Twins out of Spring Training, they’ll be up by June 1st. Keaschell at 2b, Correa at ss, Lee at 3b, Lewis at DH, Buxton, E Hernandez and Wallner in the OF and you still need a 1b and a catcher. If you’re good with a catcher who can’t his own weight, can’t throw out baserunners or frame pitchers, Jeffers is your guy. I don’t know who goes to 1st- Miranda, Larnach? Those are the 2 holes to fill.
