Honestly when I kept getting goal notifications and saw they were all Ottawa I figured that Utah must have tried something new and not played a goalie at all
Brutal one. I was just begging to not get shutout by the second but no dice.
🙀🙀🙀
It was a sad game.We were pushed around.Feel like the guys quit mid game mid.Middle of the second connor ingram was an absolute no show and I just felt like the guys didn't play hard and there were smattering of boos for their effort around them arena
Ingram had a rough 1st, but Vejmelka isnt getting the credit he deserves, he played amazing. Ottaway had a solid 8 minute span but after that first period Utah had control of the game, just couldn't get any goals around the wall of a goalie Ottawa had in net. Its a long season and you're going to have games like this, just gotta let it go and get the next one.
Sens fan here in defense of Utah they have some nice pieces there but you have to stay out of the box against the Sens they are tied for the 2nd best powerplay in the league. 2 top units that can score. Ottawa gave up a lot of shots however many were from the outside but if you shoot from there most NHL goalies will make the save.
If you ever consider wanting help on Robyn’s and your days off I’d enjoy the chance. I listen all the time have been a hockey fan for most of my life. Not wanting to take away from what you 2 have built but enjoy talking hockey.
I disagree with several items and tone of the analysis. Utah has a fast skating and hard working team and took the attack to Ottawa. Beyond that, Utah had the advantage of gassing out Ottawa with the high altitude advantage. So process-wise Utah was doing the right things to get themselves back in the game (until maybe the 2nd half of the 3rd period). However, Forsberg had a great game and Ottawa's offence was opportunistic with the few chances they had. Utah should be okay for the rest of the season (their 2nd goalie looked great).
Still waiting on Liljegren 🤦♂️
after 6 games tell me how Utah is better than anyone let alone Ottawa ?
I think you guys are being a bit hard on yourselves. Watching that game as a Sens fan, I thought Utah was the better team for like 2/3 of the game, especially that first 10 mins. Ingram just didn't show up to play, whereas Forsy had his best game since his double MCL injury in early 2023. I think that game goes your way 7 times out of 10.
Your team really looks to me like it's rounding a corner and I hope you guys will finally be able to make it back to the playoffs this year. Enjoyed the pod 🙂
Bad game for the 4 on 4 and a bad game for Ingram, but I can't be mad or upset at how Utah played. They had a huge amount of puck time and tons more shots, Forsberg had a great game.
