  1. Hopefully Rotenberg won't cut Demidov's TOI next game for playing too well 😉😜! Habs are lacking quality depth which is why the rebuild will continue for at least 2 more years. It takes time to replenish a pipeline that was neglected for years under the previous regime.

  2. Guys open your eyes the concept the coaching staff wants to play will never ever win play off hockey good coaching can put a system in play to help it's your defense this coaching staff leaves their players out to dry way too much

  3. Too many excuses Josh about MSL and his experience. Hiring a peewee coach is starting to show that it's not a good idea. The experience you claim he is gaining he needed to have on day 1.

  4. I love your positive attitudes. I was a bug defender of Baron in the past couple years, but honestly i really havent liked his game this year. A lot of goals this year were directly his lost coverage, and he doesnt look confident in his defensive zone plays. His best period was against Ottawa when he played with more aggression and threw the body. Had presence, won the board battles, but it was short lived when he gave up coverage later in the game and cost us a goal.

  5. I do think most people need to look at stats but they also need to know how to read them and other related stats to build a bigger picture.Lucky for me I can tell just watching players play and imo Barron has played much better the last 3 or games after a real bad start.
The real problem on defense is Savard we don't owe him any favors he is simply real bad REAL slow and needs to retire.
The TEAM inability to play better stems from low hockey IQ but then again not many modern players have it is all about talent not smarts.
The problem is that th eHabs cannot rely on talent we are on the short end of the stick so this team badly needs better coaching and Marty has proven to me over 2+ years that he does NOT have much positive coaching ability. All 3 zones need addressing and all 3 zones have not been addressed over Marty's stay so yeah he gets a huge failing report card.
I want to add that my evaluation of Marty does NOT care about injuries or goals/assists it is strictly abotu HOW they think the game the positioning shooting IQ passing IQ how trap the middle how and when to pinch in from the points players working together and not as a soloist. All these areas and more are IQ things and TIME won't fix any of it unless someone teaches the players how to fix it.

  6. First Demidov is the real thing, just amazing talented player. It's been 3 years now that St-Louis is to learning but how long will it take? So far we have no structure, no identity and yes I understand that we have a young team but that is not an excuse for not showing up day in and day out. The mistakes we do now are the same mistakes we been doing for three years. Our powerplay sucks, we don't score goals 5 vs 5 and our defense is the worst of the NHL. He's not playing Xhekaj because he sucks defensively but what about the others? Mailloux and Strubble stop skating on an icing call causing a goal, is this better? At least Xhekaj brings some toughness in the lineup which we are lacking big time. The next coming games will be very important for St-Louis imo on how the players will respond.

  7. barron is very good at loosing the puck, and getting smashed by clear hits
otherwise he's completely a weak defenceman
you have a very simple minded manager, and a very weak coach, montreal is at ohl level

  8. I think Barron is trying to do too much offensively, i wish he had not looked down at the puck before he got Dumbassed. I am a firm believer that the players have to protect themselves first. I wouldn't have blamed him for a second if he bailed on the puck and protected himself.

  9. Lovin Demidov ..but ..back home …our face off numbers .. are terrible ..Question ..Where is Vincent Lecavalier..??? He should be working with Dach …etc. …or help out the power play systems …He is invisible…and HE was a great powerplay scorer .!!?? Where is he !?? Marty has TOO MUCH on his plate …and it's showing …Players need specific advice and St. LOUIS seems to be overwhelmed !!! A competent assistant is very much needed …especially considering his limited coaching history ..!! The N.H.L. is not a place to learn on the fly …that is an injustice to the organization and the fans ..!!
