Make this year the last time met fans need to say "wait til next year". It was a great season but still it's a disappointment not winning the world series. Please make the smart moves to bring the world series back to queens.

First of all, Soto is staying with the Yankees so don't get your hopes up. Secondly, I hope you realize that at least half of the roster will not be back next year for one reason or another.

For basically the first time in my entire life rooting for this team, i am genuinely incredibly confident in the core players already on the team, the front office's ability to put the finishing touches to go for a world series in 2025, the direction of the farm system, and most importantly im confident the owner will do everything he possibly can to set up our beloved Mets for perennial success.
Ive never in my 31 years as a Met fan truly believed the team was being setup/ran in a way that would let them be perennial winners and contenders. But with the strong core we have locked up, ascending young talent and ever improving farm system, elite president in David Stearns, and an owner who has spared no expense on and off the field to modernize the Mets i have no doubt our beloved Mets will continue to be a very strong team year after year. 2024 was amazing, and a totally unexpected yet joyful ride that provided moments i will cherish, but i genuinely believe this year was just the beginning of an incredible run in Mets baseball full of winning seasons, shrewd decision making, and deep playoff runs. Never felt better as a Mets fan ❤
