1. Awful offensive coach and Jalen is a chucker who’s scared to drive with the basketball. Him taking 15 3s is inexcusable . Why doesn’t he drive it more??

3. Total team loss. Ime’s rotations and offensive sets. Sengun overthinking it and being sloppy. Jalen horrible shot selection and settling. Fred horrible shot selection and horrible at the rim. 5. For this team to be successful this season, Fred needs to go to the bench. Fred and Green are way too inefficient to be starting together. Go look at their stat last season both barely shot like 41% from the field and many games both shots 39% or worse just like this game. That’s terrible and no team will win with that inefficient backcourt.

6. The Rockets have a chance to not waste this season, they really need to consider starting Amen ASAP. If they want to play politics (size of contract) instead of winning (best starting lineup) then they’ll continue to start two ineffective backcourt players who have showed in their career that they can’t shoot better than 42%. I know Rafael Stone is into analytics but this does not even need analytics to see. Fred was a 6th man in Toronto for a reason. The reason Fred won in Toronto is cause he wasn’t their starting PG it was Kyle Lowry. Their championship playoffs starting lineup was: M Gasol, D Green, K Leonard, P Shiakam and K Lowry

8. Where’s the off ball movement in this team when alpi has the ball? Silas wasn’t great but alpi was getting assists left and right with all the cutters for the first 2 years of his career…

9. Jalen Green is the reason the Hornets came back. Inefficient shooting, ball gets stuck in his hands and he hate assist. Rhythm of the team went down hill. On top of that the rotation was horrible. Udoka is leaving Tari and Amen on the bench too long. Need to change the starting unit. They are trash together.

15. Played themselves right out of the game. Jalen playing hero ball. 28pts, (9-23) 2 Rebs, 0 assists. That's right, he managed to play 35 minutes and not have a single assist. 😂 This seemed to be a common theme throughout the game. Many players on the team were calling their own number time after time. I believe they have too many players on a prove it contract. Everybody is worried more about their personal stats and not about winning. It clearly shows. Jalen green is not team oriented. He missed a lot of wide open players to take his own shot. Early in the shot clock 3 ball from the logo. I could go on. If you put up a bunch of points and you don't win, nobody cares. They're not going to win a championship like that. They're not even going to make the playoffs. I would seriously consider reorganizing everything and trading some players. Many players actually.

16. It's also crazy how you all drafted read Shepherd to leave him wide open on the three-point line Time after Time because nobody passes him the ball. Instead you got dudes that are historically under 35% from three-point land. Maybe worse out there playing like it's street ball.

17. That was one of the most mismanaged basketball games I think I've ever seen in my life. Obviously it's the first game. They've just got too many players. You're going to have to commit to some and let others go. Everybody can't be out there playing. Oh, I'm playing for my next contract and no one passes the ball
