Were not the Mets already considered a powerhouse since like 2020-2021 ? I certainly believe the future is bright but people forget 101 wins and a wildcard exit but will remember a 89 win season and game 6 of the NLCS. Point being, anything can happen regardless of adjectives.
They can but this off season moves will be crucial.
Mets are still off season. Eliminated.
Absolutely
Go out and get Juan Soto and Corbin Burnes then we’ll talk
any word on if Matt Alan is still around?
Then why do you even have a podcast? It defeats the purpose. "We can't talk about, A,B, or C". This is a prime example of corporations ruining good things.
Jonathan is a very cute boi
The METS cannot brcome a power house as long as DAVID STEARNS keeps up his MINI MARKET / MONEY BALL PHILOSOPHY still going after very cheap low tier free agents like he did in 2024 season.
All the money the METS might use on SOTO could be ised to resign ALONSO(who STEARNS doesn't want to resign), resign SEVERINO and MANAEA, sign COLLRBIN BURNES and sign ANTHONY SANTANDER.
Knowing that STEARNS is crazy about his MINI MARKET/MONEY BALL PHILOSOPHY, STEARNS will probably get rid of McNEIL, MARTE, and even EDWIN DIAZ because of their contract salaries. So, let's not become so naive and fall in love with MINI MARKET STEARNS. Remember that while he was in MILWAKEE, he did not want to extend YELLICH and the owner had to step in and get the deal done. Also he traded JOSH HADER because as a free agebt he would command a hefty contract.
BRET BATY should be used in a trade to acquire either BRENT ROOKER or GARRET CROCHET.
I don't want the METS to be like the DODGERS. I WANT THEM TO BE LIKE THE 1986 or 1988 METS or the 2006 METS.
I dont want the mets to be like the dodgers i want the mets to be the team that everyone wants to be including the dodgers
Lets acquire the entire baseball world….. and then everyone will forfeit to ys due to lack of players…..😂
Drew Gilbert hit what .220!? He's not a prospect lol. I know he has power and talent but No
Vito, stop interrupting.
They are about to lose 40 HRs and 100 RBIs by losing Alonso, who pretty much disappeared in the NLCS. You talk about Nimmo gutting it out, him being out there cost the Mets due to being slowed and caught in close double plays and it impacted his defense.
