The defense was even worse than the offense for the Miami Heat in their opener, but a comment Bam Adebayo made after the game still got our attention. Ethan Skolnick and Brady Hawk discuss how the Heat’s two most important players can “fit into” the team’s new approach?

Keep bam involved in the offense early smh 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Jimmy smokes layups like a pack of Marlboros. A five out offense with guys that can’t shoot won’t work.
I wish Kel El Ware played beside Jimmy and Bam!
I’m so sick of the narrative “Bam needs a true point guard to set him up.” Bro you’re a max player and touch the ball all the time. You’re 27 and have 2 Olympic Gold Medals and have been to 2 Finals. GET YOURSELF INVOLVED AND TAKE SHOTS
Jimmy is like that single child that only gives af about himself. Thanks for the finals runs but F%ck that guy
Ethan always swea he's rt and the fans know nothing thank you Brady look around the league we are the only team that makes it difficult to play rookies the best players should play idgaf
Seems like Spo has a legit reason to tinker
Brady got it figured out!….thats the best plan
Spo is not going to play Ware this season. As a matter of fact, the Heat haven't developed a decent center through the draft since Kurt Thomas in 1995, and that only lasted 2 seasons before he was traded. Jimmy, Herro and Bam have been a trio since 2019 so there's absolutely no excuse for them to act like strangers on the court 5 years later. They should be able to play off each other at this point regardless of Spo's futile attempt at structuring an efficient offensive philosophy.
I don't want to hear anything about "figuring it out." they have been together for 5 years.
The heat fucked up with that Terry trade. They didn’t want to make any splash trade, which is fine. The next best thing would have been to find a guard to complement Tyler. Instead, u get a guard which is the exact opposite of the type of player u need bc u were desperate for some offense
