Weaver explains what we all think is that the organization development is lacking. Basically almost the same facilities when he left almost 10 years ago. Only difference is the Numbers Nerd Analytics now. The 5 innings 80 pitch mentality of today's game is insulting to Old School heads like him which I agree wholeheartedly. Arturoball needs to invest more in player development and also the minor leagues at all levels as a whole. This is the real reason GMPM looks for draft ready players to almost start immediately like Neto, Schanuel, and now Moore. Until this is fixed, what real player development do we have?
