Green jacking up a bunch of 3s and no assists is not good for the team.
The bench would he helped by putting FVV and Dillion on the second unit. The first unit too.😊
easy, Jalen is the only one can creat his own basket anyway he wants, he is unstoppable one on one
The coach should tell the team we're not a three point shooting team and pretending they are makes them very inefficient. Should work on 2 point goals at a high percentage and then work out not vice versa.
Always blame green alp making the money
It's Reed first NBA game!!! Give him time to adjust to the speed of the NBA game he will be fine. The Rockets got out to a 18 point lead and relaxed because the Hornets had injuries and key players didn't play. The momentum changed and they got swept away. They'll be ok
Memphis got this1
Facts:
1. Jalen Green is not interested in non-scoring parts of the game. He doesn't rebound, assist and steal.
2. Jalen Green doesn't have enough basketball IQ to be a playmaker.
3. Jalen Green doesn't like the physical contact and avoids hustling.
4. Jalen Green doesn't care about losing.
This team is missing that true ballhandler that passes first when going downhill or draws a foul. Honestly if we could combine FVV and JG they're the perfect guard, but sadly I think JG is just a score first guy. I think our only hope of that happening is Amen has to take that leap into turning into one. Westbrook never shot well, but he was a constant downhill threat that would make the correct read and pass when it was there.
What playmaking? Jalen Green isn't a playmaker. There were definitely opportunities he just opted to shoot. We tried this for years. When he does try, his turnovers sky rocket. Let's get real guys
There’s too many good players in the same position! They have to be real about who the go to guy is and the offense will be better. Green just need to take mid range shots and floaters and that will open up the 3 pts makes and dunks! It’s the rockets with this analytic bullshit! They don’t want to shoot midrange shots and that’s the problem! Jabari , green , and amen would dominate more with a midrange game. But it’s time to play the young boys.
alpi should try more 3 p shots, thats gonna solve, not trustıng fvv or jalen at allll
No offense but Jalen Green's playmaking might be the last thing the Rockets offense needs.
Good stuff
I think Jalen green has the potential to be a strong playmaker. Y’all in the comments forgetting we didn’t turn into a winning team till after all star break last year and that started happening because of him dropping 30+ game after game. I think IME wants Jalen to get comfortable early
The chemistry of this team does not match Alperen. The team is more compatible with J.Green. But this won't work in the playoffs. Alperen is a complete playoff final player. In my opinion, Alperen should go to a team that suits him.
Fred put such an effort into last season and even coaching the guys in practice. Maybe that is why he was not in good form in the first game. He has been neglecting himself. Last season was probably his best. If he can copy that, we will end up in good shape.
