2. Do you not remember the Denver/Minnesota series? Denver just isn't good anymore. They have the best player in the world surrounded by a bunch of middle of the road dudes and bums.

12. The nuggets just seem like their second unit (when jokic is off) is “Jamal Murray please save us” even last year that’s what it felt like, and Jamal Murray isn’t playing at a star level they don’t look that good aside from jokic

13. The best years of Jokic’s career are being wasted as Denver has spent the last few years focusing on getting younger instead of building a stronger team. You only get a player of his caliber every 30-40 years, and instead of investing in top talent for a championship run, they’re starting to rebuild with younger players. After he turns 35, sure, they could use picks to develop a new generation, but now is the time to go all-in. If they don’t see his value, they might as well trade him now while he’s still valuable. It’s laughable to claim we’re playing for a title! Through his consistent performances and almost no injuries (which is rare for NBA players), Jokic has earned the right to go down as a legend with at least one or two more titles. It’s a shame for him and a shame for Denver.

Nuggets GM wanted to do a two timeline plan, hence why he didn’t replace brown or green with anyone after 2023 because he wanted to force malones hand and make him play younger guys, same with letting KCP and Reggie walk and not replacing them, Russ and saric is just so he has an excuse and can pin all the blame on Russ and Malone when it doesn’t work out
