  1. Idk if Dallas really changed much on the entry on the pp. goal #1 was a faceoff, #2 was a stretch pass that they do when not on the pp, #3 looked different. Idk if it was designed or happenstance, but instead of everyone being on the blue line waiting, they all pushed the zone together, more a typical breakout. Also on two of the goals miro actually ended up in the bumper position and did well there, which imo is less about miro doing it well, vs the forwards doing it poorly

I’m very glad stankoven scored, hopefully that breaks the dam, I’m still not going to praise his shot though, these are the goals he HAS to score, we’ll see how his wrist shot develops.

I want to see nils and Harley together from time to time, we’ll see if they play more together after a pk. I didn’t get to see desmith too much to see how his slides were.

Tentative good game, but I want to see a lot more still, whether Boston is a good team or not, they’re currently in a slump.

  2. I remember in the late 90's when our record when Jere got a point was like 0.800 compared to a poor record when he wasn't on the scoresheet. Stankoven is starting to look like that for us. Nice to see him get to be the finisher tonight, but he has been a great set-up man so far this year. It will be interesting to see if he continues to get his points by passing more than shooting.

  3. The Stars kept catching Boston overloading to one side in their defensive zone. Boston is big but what comes with that is they are slow.
