  1. Hit me with your thoughts on my theory about Hughes and Gorton + Friedman. There's no way anything very serious about trades is happening but I thought I'd talk about it since TSN is already milking that cow. Hope you're all having a good day! Have anything good to eat lately? What should I make for dinner tomorrow?

    Have agood one! Whiskey

  2. I thought with the return of Dach and the praise of Roy's on ice intellect, and maybe the D would tighten up bit. Yeah wasn't counting on the injury curse again.
Food… Schwartz smoked meat pouches, brown a bun on the grill, then toss a pouch of the meat in the pan to heat it up. I forgot how great they tasted at Costco when they sold them at the delli, don't forget the mustard !

  3. Getting to know the new kids on the block , Utah , so we can pick their pockets is what a good manager should do. I can see many good reasons to go visit Saint-Petersburg, meet our scouts, the KHL top brass etc …. and go see our #1 Protogee.20 games is when a trade might happen, probably a swap of seasoned players but we don't really have what Utah needs, seasoned D-men

  4. Demidov is a monster. I've watched most of his KHL games and even though he isn't on the ice that much… the guy makes things happen. Can't wait to see him in NA.

  5. Visiting Demidov is a good thing , being present for the kid and throwing hints for his arrival next season might be needed to combat the pressure on him to sign there.

Habs are struggling because Dach is not matching what Monahan did for the first 40ish games last season. As Dach goes , as the 2nd line goes. Dach is the only legitimate 2nd liner in the team right now and he's not himself. And they are not giving a shot at the line that worked at the end of last season (Gally-Newhook-Armia), it's all mixing and matching instead.

I wonder if St-Louis didn't lose part of the locker room when he said he'd like to see Xhekaj play an entire game after another game where he fought for a teammate… since then Xhekaj seems to have lost his physical edge and the team doesn't play with much intensity.

  6. Funny you didn't mention several hockey shows talking about MSL's lack of experience and being a offensive minded coach and that he bears some responsibility for how soft, structureless and unsystematic the team is. There is not a lot of positives to talk about at this time, but the third line is gritty and actually plays like they want to be there, the penalty kill is great and the powerplay is alsovery good. What bothers me most is the team appears to haven given up already and realised that we are not as good as we think we are.

  7. Demidovs a game changer ive also been watching his games and man everytime he touches the puck its a scoring chance. Kuznetsov is back from injury and they have ivantied to hid hip. So great news i think ice time wise

  8. To me it’s amazing that outlets are reporting everyday business (Hughes talking to other teams, management visiting their top prospect). I guess they can’t find out what HuGo is up to. I’m just waiting for the team to gel. 😊
